Overview - The MicroFirst Digital Automation System provides real-time automation processing, machine control and database management through a single rack unit, embedded hardware platform. The applications are all programs used in conjunction with the MPC-3200. All programs, with the exception of the Automation Processor, are graphical user interfaces that allow interaction through communication with the MPC-3200, and run on just about any basic Windows workstation. All operator actions can be carried out on any of the DAS workstations.
- Automation Processor
The brain of the DAS. Communicates with all graphical applications as well as connected devices. Responsible for executing schedules and other automated tasks. - Operator Interface Program
Create and edit schedules of events and monitor them in real-time as they execute. - Machine Control Program
Allows control and status/tally of the devices connected to the AP, for example a video server. - LanAp
Interface between the graphical applications and the AP. - ResEdit
System and resource configuration program for the DAS. - MediaEdit
Allows a full range of actions to be performed on video clips which includes: editing, deleting, duplicating and transferring. - Log Viewer
Performs viewing and filtering of log files generated by the AP, general system logs as well as schedule As Run logs.
