The Operator Interface Program (the OIP) flags and describes scheduling conflicts, and alarms on dead air (Gap) and over-run (Over-lap) events.The OIP alarms on failure of a scheduled device or clip play-out. The Resource and Media Editors warn on operator deletion of any scheduled device or clip from the DAS database. The Digital Automation System logs all alarms and problems.
