Northwest Airlines, MI
The new Northwest Air terminal in the Detroit National Airport, Michigan includes a MicroFirst DAS Automation System to provide news and information to passengers in waiting areas. Advertising scheduling capabilities are built into the system to provide a potential future revenue stream. The system provides switching between satellite program services and local video tape and video server origination. Cue tone signal control is also available for cueing commercial insertion.
